Baccarat Banque Policies

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the cards, however the first digit is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house has a total of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the house hits on a total lower than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to decide if the bank stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you depart the table so be sure to have money left over just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie usually pay 8:1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Bet on properly baccarat gives generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few familiar myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future events. Recording past results on a chart is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and likely the most acknowledged strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is used to maximize profits and minimizing losses.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a sum of three units on the second bet. Should you win you will have six on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth round.

Should you lose on the 1st round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the initial two with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a loss on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can lose the 2nd wager 5 times for every favorable streak of 4 rounds and still are even.
