Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under ten are counted at their printed value meanwhile 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely act as the two hands to be played).
Two hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven … five results in a value of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).
A third card can be played depending on the foll. rules:
- If the player or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the two scores is the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pay out eight to one but on occasion 9 to one. (This is a bad wager as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of wagering on a tie. Nonetheless odds are especially better – 9 to one versus eight to one)
When played properly, baccarat provides fairly good odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Strategy
As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Tracking of past outcomes on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most popular and probably most successful strategy is the 1-three-two-six concept. This process is used to maximize payouts and lowering risk.
commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a value of six on the fourth gamble.
If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
