Baccarat Standards
Baccarat banque is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; dump the first ‘one’).
A third card could be dealt based on the following rules:
- If the gambler or house gets a total of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the gambler has less than 5, he takes a card. Players stands otherwise.
- If the player holds, the bank hits on five or less. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to see if the bank stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The higher of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (equal money minus a five percent rake. Commission are recorded and cleared out once you leave the game so be sure to still have funds left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)
Played correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme
As with all games baccarat banque has some accepted misconceptions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording previous results on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and almost certainly the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is deployed to maximize winnings and limit losses.
Start by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the game table, subtract four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th wager.
Should you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to give up the second wager five times for each favorable streak of four wagers and still break even.
