Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than ten are give a value of their printed value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just act as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 7 … 5 will have a total score of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be given depending on the following standards:

- If the player or banker has a tally of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie generally pay 8 to one and sometimes nine to 1. (This is not a good bet as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Still, odds are remarkably better – nine to one vs. eight to one)

When done correctly, baccarat offers fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common myths. One of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an actual indicator of future events. Monitoring of old outcomes on a chart is a complete waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and probably most successful strategy is the one-3-2-six technique. This schema is used to amplify winnings and reducing risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
