Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under ten are of their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they just act as the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand will be the grand total of the two cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as five results in a value of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be dealt depending on the following standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure you have money left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays 8 to 1 and on occasion 9 to one. (This is not a good wager as ties occur lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are substantially better – nine to 1 vs. eight to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat offers pretty good odds, aside from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future actions. Keeping track of old conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and probably most successful technique is the one-3-two-six scheme. This technique is employed to magnify profits and cutting back risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
