Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards with less than a value of ten are worth face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they only appear as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for every hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the initial digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 and five has a total score of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at eight to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is an awful gamble as ties will occur lower than 1 every ten hands. Definitely don’t try wagering on a tie. Nonetheless odds are substantially better – nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

Played smartly, baccarat provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is surely not an indicator of future happenings. Staying abreast of prior results on a chart is a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and possibly most successful method is the one-3-two-6 scheme. This plan is deployed to build up winnings and lowering risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
