Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards of a value less than ten are give a value of face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they strictly act as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand will be the sum of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For example, a hand of seven … five produces a total of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following regulations:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or nine, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at eight to 1 and occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. Stay away from putting money on a tie. Even so odds are supremely better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When done correctly, baccarat presents generally good odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future actions. Staying abreast of old conclusions on a chart is simply a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful technique is the one-3-2-six scheme. This technique is deployed to build up successes and reducing risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
