Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued under ten are of their printed value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they just appear as the two hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for each hand will be the total of the two cards, but the first digit is dumped. For example, a hand of seven as well as 5 has a total of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be played depending on the foll. rules:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, each players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie normally pay eight to 1 but sometimes nine to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties will happen less than one every 10 hands. be cautious of betting on a tie. However odds are certainly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Played accurately, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established myths. 1 of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of previous outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-six concept. This tactic is used to amplify profits and reducing risk.

commence by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
