Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under ten are of their printed number while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they only portray the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven … five produces a value of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be played depending on the foll. standards:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have money left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pay out 8 to 1 and sometimes nine to 1. (This is an awful wager as ties occur lower than 1 every ten hands. be wary of betting on a tie. Regardless odds are positively better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Played accurately, baccarat provides fairly good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future actions. Tracking of past results on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and feasibly most successful tactic is the 1-three-two-6 method. This technique is employed to amplify wins and reducing risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
